CampusEAI Symposium at Educause

On behalf of CampusEAI Consortium and Sakai, I would like to invite you to attend the “Future of IT in Higher Education Symposium” at EDUCAUSE 2008 on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 in Orlando, Florida where I will be presenting the value of open source solutions for higher education initiatives, specifically in the area of course management solutions. This session will feature a briefing for higher education executives on major IT trends that need to be considered for their 2008-2009 strategic plans.

Abstract:
This session will feature a briefing for higher education executives on major IT trends that need to be considered for their 2008-2009 strategic plans. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a dialogue on topics including: enterprise portals, content management, enterprise application integration, identity and access management, business intelligence and collaboration and learning environments.

Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
